Tuk Away is the cutest cafe tucked away in one of quietest corners of Nungambakkam. Take a right on Bragathambal street which comes right before the Nilgiris Supermarket (if you are from Nungai) and you will find the lovely signboard in tamil inviting you in.
The limited seating doesn’t take away even a bit from all the lovely deliciousness of the pastries at offer. they have a selection of coffee on the menu too, which i couldnt sample this time. designed for take-aways, they are available on the swiggy, zomato and soon on dotpage too.
the cupcakes with their gooey surprised filled centres were moist and brilliant. the chocolate croissant was flaky, soft and delicious. their sourdough bread is made to order. Shruthi Sivabalan, the pastry chef and owner , trained at Le Cordon Bleu Melbourne also does custom cakes as Cakeoholic Chennai. going by the samples, cant wait to order from her soon enough. definitely going back for more.
