KolliBerri is a Speciality Green Bean Coffee Farm in Mudigere village of Chikmagalur. Kollibyle Estate is a 70 year old family owned enterprise run by the women folk of the third generation.
Located in the Western Ghats—a recognised biodiversity hotspot—at a height of about 3500 feet above sea level, Kollibyle is surrounded by jungles and coffee plantations, where fruits and spices are grown. (1)
Located in the Kollibyle village in Chikmagalur, Kolli Berri Estate is a completely women-run farm that has been in producer Pranathi’s family since 1942. Surrounded by jungles, their coffees grow in harmony along with other fruits, spices and trees. Humongous native shade trees like old jungle wood, jackfruit, nandi, teak and basri dot the estate. The shade trees and water bodies especially are home to a variety of rare species of birds, reptiles, butterflies and mammals that co-exist in the environment and help maintain a certain moisture level and add to the biodiversity. Kolli Berri Estate is also home to a variety of animals like bison, deer, cow, wild boar, wild cat, wild rabbit and even some rare species like pangolin.
All their coffees are dried on raised beds and stored in grain pro bags which protect the beans from moisture. 50% of the fertilizer used by them is organic and the compost is prepared on the farm itself, requiring minimum to zero use of pesticides and fungicides. This is a Rainforest Alliance and UTZ certified farm. (2)

Naivo was born in 2016, a labor of love co-founded by the dynamic duo of V E Ovian, a seasoned coffee trader, and his wife Jessie Ovian, a certified Q-Grader and coffee quality expert. Mr. Ovian’s experience extends back into the eighties when he began his career in coffee trading for the Government of India through the State Trading Corporation of India. Their shared commitment to exceptional coffee experiences laid the groundwork for Naivo’s commitment to delivering nothing short of excellence to our customers.
Joining the family legacy in 2019, their son Akash Ovian brings a fresh perspective to our operations, seamlessly blending marketing savvy, production expertise, and operational excellence. (3)
