BrewCrate – Coffee Subscription in India

January 30, 2026

BrewCrate is a new coffee subscription service delivering three premium Indian coffees to your door every month. The company was born from a simple belief: everyone deserves to experience the incredible diversity of specialty coffee grown right here in India. In practice, that means BrewCrate handpicks three distinct coffees every month that showcase the best of what Indian specialty coffee has to offer.
Founded in November 2025 by coffee enthusiast Moin Almin, BrewCrate exists to introduce more people to India’s homegrown specialty beans and help subscribers discover new flavors, roasters, and regions—one box at a time.

BrewCrate is a solo-founder company, founded by Moin Almin, a software engineer from Jharkhand with a deep passion for coffee and product building. Moin often describes himself as:

“Building robust and scalable systems. My code compiles, my coffee brews.”

The idea for BrewCrate emerged from a simple insight: while India produces exceptional specialty coffee, discovering different roasters and flavor profiles remains difficult for most consumers. Coffee lovers are often forced to stick with the same brand or spend hours researching new roasters.

BrewCrate was created to solve this problem through curation and discovery. Instead of choosing one brand repeatedly, subscribers receive a rotating selection of coffees from different Indian roasters every month. As BrewCrate puts it, the goal is to bridge the gap between exceptional Indian roasters and curious coffee drinkers across the country.

To bring this vision to life, BrewCrate partnered with independent Indian specialty roasters from the very beginning. For its early crates, BrewCrate collaborated with:

Tulum Coffee
Subatra’s Coffee
Nila Coffee

BrewCrate is designed to keep specialty coffee simple, transparent, and commitment-free.Customers select a 1-, 3-, or 6-month prepaid plan, starting at ₹1,199.
There is no auto-renewal and no hidden charges.
“Prepaid plans. No auto-renewal. No surprises.”
Subscribers pay once and enjoy curated coffee for the duration they choose.

BrewCrate is more than a subscription—it’s building a platform for discovery. In early 2026, BrewCrate plans to launch a marketplace where customers can:
* Purchase full bags from partner roasters
* Buy brewing equipment and coffee gear
* Reorder coffees they discovered through the subscription

thank you BrewCrate for sending me these coffees to try.
honestly, iam all for coffee subscriptions. i love that people can buy 3-4 different bags of coffee from one place. there are many such subscriptions already in the indian scenario, but i always welcome one more.
the modality of brewcrate seems to be coffees from across india goes to jharkhand. moin almin and team at brewcrate pack the received coffees in their signature box and then ship it to us.
this has the advantage of the consumer receiving all three bags of coffee in the same box! however this does bring with issues cost by logistics like coffees a month past their roast.
as a young entrepreneur who has just started out, iam going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume such things would be ironed out with a bit more time and planning. for now iam super happy having received these coffees from BrewCrate and look forward to more.
