Partner Farms

Situated in the silent village of Mallenahalli on the foot hills of Manikyadhara hills, this quaint farm was purchased by Mr. Manje Gowda Y C in the year 1971. Located at an elevation of 4000 ft A.S.L, Over the last thirty years Mr. Manje Gowda’s son Mr. Yatheesh has been running the farm. Named fondly after Mr. Yatheesh’s son Master Yashwant- this farm works exclusively with SLN 9 and SLN 795 Arabicas. Primarily focusing on arabica plants, the estate is filled with Jungle trees, silver oaks and jackfruit trees. Walk through the estate and you can hear the beautiful sounds of sparrows, peacocks and other exotic birds. As a small farmer, all the coffees are selectively harvested over two rounds and sent to Kalledevarapura estate for further processing. This provides the estate with the quality standards required for Specialty without having to invest individually.
The estate offers limited lots of washed and honey sun dried and natural coffees, which are processed at Kalledevarapura estate and under the supervision of Beanrove.

Mr. Yatheesh has also been associated with M/s. Kalledevarapura estate and family for over 30 years. As a green coffee manager, Mr. Yatheesh has been instrumental from day one in the journey of Kalledevarapura estate coffees and the family. The logo represents the supporting hand which Mr. Yatheesh has given to his family and also to Kalledevarapura and Beanrove. It is with respect and utmost love that we are excited to launch the coffees grown personally by him at his beautiful estate.(1)

Disclaimer : i made the mistake of picking ground beans (espresso grind size at that) instead of whole beans so all my thoughts come from that.

this made a superb espresso. dark chocolate with a hint of pepper or something that is a tad spicy like that last sip of manjal-paal grandma used to make us drink. very full bodied.
