Mr. Mahesh Narayanan is “The Natural Farmer” who owns and runs this amazing farm in Pattiveeranpatti, Dindigul. His farm has been producing fantastic specialty coffee. Mr. Mahesh focuses on organic and natural farming. The Thandikudi Coffee Research Station awarded them for their arabica. The farm also has superb vannila, pepper and jams with passion fruit, tamarillo.
The Roaster : Eventide
Eventide is a specialty coffee company started by Alvin Chris Daniel with his wife Rithika Sharon.
They have now opened up their expansively minimalist cafe Eventide, in ECR. As specialty coffee roasters and cafe, they focus on sourcing coffee which is traceable and sustainable. Alvin talks about the origin of Eventide – wanting it to be reflective of the name, a place to relax and unwind in contrast with cafes with are typically synonymous with fast paced, caffeine fueled hustle.

My thoughts
i had the lovely privilege of tasting this coffee as mr. mahesh sent me a sample even before it hit the market. it’s quite similar to seethargundu in it’s tea like flavour profile but its more citrusy. the acidity is also seen in the aftertaste. the beans smell fruity but the coffee is clean with a bright shining acidity focus.
